Description of RussAcc The RussAcc program is aimed to speak texts, create audiobooks (in wav, mp3, amr or vmo formats), and setting accents in Russian texts.
With RussAcc you can read or listen to books (and rest your eyes), write them to mp3 players and other gadgets as sound files and listen to books anywhere. RussAcc can help you to use your time (in car, train, airport and so on) more rationally. You can listen to foreign texts while studying languages. Also RussAcc can be used as a simple text editor.
Highlights current piece of text by color. Has an option to shutdown or hibernate PC after sound file recording.
There are 16 recent files and folders under File menu. RussAcc remembers text positions for 50 recent files. Inserts an item "Open with RussAcc" to Explorer context menu for text files.
Has an option to work with Russian texts even without Russian language package installed. Has an ability of converting books in fb2 format to txt.
Russian is more complex than English and many words have different accents dependently of context. Wrong accents wound the ears, so RussAcc tries to set them right in Russian texts. It has more than 3 million word forms with their accents and grammar parameters (but RussAcc installer has less than 2.5 million bytes).
RussAcc - this is an abbreviation of Russian Accents. And "RusAk" is one of the names of hare too (a type of rabbit) and it is known that the hare is quick and even that a trained hare can quickly strike, thump a drum. In Russian, accent, stress and impact are similar words ('udarenie' and 'udar'). RussAcc can quickly set accents.

The RecordEditor is a Data-File editor, similar to File-Aid or Net-Cobols Cobol-Editor. It uses a Record-Layout to format the data in the file in to a human readable format. Because it knows the format of Fields, it can format Binary Fields as normal numbers rather than displaying hex equivalent as most hex editors do. The file can be editted in a Table (Spreadsheet like format) or in a single record format with fields going down the page.
